Yes. As long as you develop at least 70 psi you should be just fine. I have a Porter Cable framing gun and it works great from 70-120 psi. I'm using a 4-gallon pancake compressor with it. Cycles a bit more often than the larger tanks but since I don't use it for commercial work it's not a problem.
