i have a McCullough chainsaw with a broken stud in the block?
it is the one that holds the bar and chain plate to the block. i have tried vise grip's and pipe wrench. I'm scared that i will crack the block. should i take it to the repair shop or keep trying to remove it my self.?
i don't know for sure but it might be left hand thread seems to me some were and some were molded into the block so when you took the bar off the stud stayed and didn't loosen up check for sure you could call dealer and ask make sure you have model an serial numbers

whats the best all around rotary hammer for the price?
for 300 dollars ish or less whats the best all around rotary hammer, for chipping concrete, using the clay spade and drilling holes in concrete for anchors and whatnot. the bosch bull dog looks good , its about 200 dollars. i am not sure what size eather 7/8s up to 2 inch , whats the best
Bosch is known for great Rotary Hammers. Some have the chipping feature you want, however the smaller hammers (SDS) will limit your drilling capacity to 1" diameter holes. The larger Rotary Hammers (SDS MAX) will allow you to go up to 2" and make quick work of larger projects for chipping tile,concrete,etc.
DeWalt also makes a good Rotary Hammer.
The important thing is to buy a Tool that parts are readily available for it such as switches,brushes, etc.
Ryobi,Hitachi,and some of the cheaper brands you find on special at the big box stores take forever to get parts and some you can never get parts for them.

How many squares of all sizes are there in a 5 by 5 grid of small squares?
The largest sqare is the one on the outside. The smallest are the 25 making up the grid. I need the total number using all the sizes of squares in the box. Thank you!
You need a way to count without worrying about repetition.
First count all single squares, by counting the centres of the squares. You already said its 5x5.
Next count all 2x2 sqaures. Consider the possible centres of these squares. They can only lie on interior line crossings, of which there are 4x4=16.
For 3x3 squares, you get a 3x3 grid of possible centres, and so on. Cleary there is only one 5x5.
