When I was young, I remember my friend had a LEGO like play kit where there was a whole bunch of metal bars with holes punched on it along with a lot of nuts, bolt and other mechanical components. You used them to build a lot of different mechanical structures like trucks and cranes etc.. It is very similar to LEGO in concept except that you use nuts, bolts and metal bars to assemble them. Can anyone tell me what they are called? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hey, I knew this game a long time ago, it was a racing game that had this boat called torpedo or something, and these exotic levels like arctic, beach etc, I forgot its name and badly want it! HELPS!?! ;s
