kitchen faucet?
my kitchen faucet has lost lot of pressure all of a sudden. I did clean the aerator twice...no luck. And do not have a side spray. the faucet is the kind that you push a button to make it spray also. the problem is with both hot and cold water. incidentally this all happened when one of our pipes sprang a leak. the rubber washer deteriorated on an pipe supply line in the garage (where the water comes in from outside) and we had that repaired immediately but the problem with the faucet started at the same time and still persists. The pressure everywhere else is still the same (as before the leak). So what i can't figure out is what is the relationship between the leak and the kitchen faucet only. And why is the faucet still messed up after the leak was repaired. We have checked all the valves to make sure they are open all the way. Showers upstairs have same pressure as before. Bathroom sink and toilet on same level as kitchen are still functioning as before too. This one's a mystery!
You could have gotten air ,or even mud in your lines.Did you pull your kitchen faucet cartridges out? All the way out? Could be mud or metal little particles stuck in the pipes .That is just my guess, I am not a plumber although I have to act like I am sometimes. I do our plumbing up to a certain point. If it goes behind a wall,or if a spider is close , that is where I make him call a regular plumber. We don't call them very often.

Rust Repair - Metal Grinder question?
I own a 1993 Nissan Sentra Classic vehicle. Rust is just killing me. Here is a sample pic of my car: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/ad/Sentra_1986-1990.jpg
Im attempting to repair the rust (first over the driver-side wheel arch) by sanding the area then using a metal grinder to remove the stubborn rust. The sander has been great but the metal grinder is freaking me out. I am holding it flat against the rust area and it is taking out chunks but i still see brownish material and not the expected silvery metal.
My questions are:
1. What is the proper way of using the metal grinder?
2. How deep is the wheel arch for my vehicle so that i dont accidentally grind completely thru to the other side?

What are your thoughts on skipping the metal grdining and just using Rust Converter to convert the rust, then apply primer and paint?
the rust will go all the way through on it,those would rust out bad in that area when exposed to salt or bad weather conditions a lot,once you get all of the rust ground down in it you may have to use a piece of sheet metal and make you a piece of metal to replace what is gone,the wheel arch isn't very thick on those at all,but its very important you get all of it out,if not it will come back out on it again,good luck with it,and take your time with it,make sure you get all of it.

How can i revive a battery pack on my cordless drill?
I have two battery packs for my 18v Dewalt drill and neither will take a charge. Is there a way to revive them so they will charge up?
I've tried using the freezing and heating method, but it did not work. Here's a method of bringing them back to life by zapping those shorted crystal dendrites away with too much current and/or voltage. You can use a welder as a power source. You could also use a car battery, a DC powersupply, or almost anything with some voltage. Make sure to wear eye protection, match negative with negative and positive with positive, and zap it for 1 - 2 seconds a couple of times and it should be good as new. I 'd hook up the negative side to the battery first. Then touch the positive to the positive side. You want to see some sparks - it is normal and not to worry. If you're not sure which is positive or negative on the battery, you can use a volt meter - use the meter also to measure the almost immediate result before and after the battery has been zapped. Repeat the process if the battery is still not holding charge, but I can assure you that you will see a big difference almost right away. The battery companies do not want us to know about it so they can continue to rip us off. Good Luck!

Where can I get a set of lock housings for the fold down levers for a set of yakima sst towers? Have the core?
I have the lock cores but there does not seem to be any lock housings in the fold down levers...therefore, nothing with which to lock the lever to the Clip. These are the old Yakima towers.
The housings can be found in most yakima chop shops.
Though they are not out in bulk.

I have a 24' above ground pool filled with well water. i have tried everything but cant get water clear?
metal out doesnt work and im trying phosphate free right now
I already brought a sample to pool store and they tried but have been no help. No one seems familiar with well water. All they tell me is i have iron in it and metal out should work but its not.
I agree with Irish. Take a sample of your pool water to the local pool store or call them out and have them take care of it there.
