What should toy companies do with recalled toys?
Should they crush them in a compactor and bury them in a landfill or burn them in a trash incinerator?
Recycle them. Of course that all depends on why the specific toy was recalled. If it had faulty parts, there would be no reason to bury them or burn them. That's a big waste. Now where lead based paint is concerned, yes they could probably incinirate them.

I am moving to an area with no trees or grass!!?
My back yard is a concrete pad fenced in with cinderblock. PLUS its int he heart of a "reviving" neighborhood, so anything I do has to either be too heavy to steal of something I can chain to something to prevent theft.
I am thinking I can probably grow some trees in 60 gal trash cans (rubber or plastic). They would be too heavy to move I am guessing.
Can I grow rose bushes in them? I have seen people plant those copper colored japanese elms in them and it looks really good.
Impatens fromt he 2nd floor windows. What else can I do??

I'd say growing trees in 60 gallon trash can (and those would be enormous considering what a fifty gallon drum looks like) would be okay at first, but after a while the trees would pobably become root bound. Small shrubs or flowering bushes would probably be better in them in the long run.
Also, have you considered a pond? I'm not talking a natural pond, but those plastic garden ponds you can get at garden shops, hardware stores, and some department stores. You can get some water plants to put in it and maybe a fountain of some kind for a nice water garden. Might even want to put some fish in it too.
