Can "Apron front" kitchen sinks be covered with a wood panel?

I am starting my kitchen remodel and I am hunting for a GREAT sink: it has to be a single basin, oversized and undermounted. I love the size and shape of "apron front" sinks, but I do not want the front of the sink exposed, I would prefer to not see it at all (also why I want a undermounted sink) But I cannot find any sinks that have all three of those together that are not "Apron front" (where you see the front of the sink).

Have you seen this done before or do you have any advice?
I just love the large rectangle sink, but I do not want to have the "front" of my sink on display... does anyone have a good website that sells these or any ideas what I can do?
Thanks!

in a word, no. the entire purpose of paying for an extremely expensive "apron" front sink, is to see the "apron." single basin rectangle sinks are out there, you just have to look. go to your local home store and talk to someone in the kitchen fixtures section - they should be able to steer you towards manufacturers that offer that style sink. or, go directly to the counter top manufacturer's web site - i bet they show exactly the kind of sink you are looking for - keep in mind, however, you cannot under-mount a sink into a laminate top, so you will have to go with an up-market counter top product like stone or quartz. anything you want is always available, at a price.
